Throughout the summer, we will be having small projects classes for those who like to keep busy. On June 6, we will be making a self-binding placemat (or two). Sizes are flexible. This class is also a good class to use up scraps. A fat quarter for the front print will make two and a 1/2 yard for the back.
July 18 2025, we will be making this Travel Case for all of your sewing tools (tools are not included). We added an extra twist which we will reveal in class.
On August 15, we will be having another class for a travel case which serves as a platform for your sewing machine and holds your tools at hand.

Using fabric panels or large scale print fabric, create a beautiful fabric kaleidoscope quilt using a 60 degree ruler. Two settings will be offered (offset or nesting triangles) for either a twin or full size quilt. Samples up in the shop!
Double Reflection
This is a unique Bargello project with multiple reflections. It’s a great project because there are only 10 fabrics (fewer than most Bargellos) and the seams don’t have to match! Class samples show two sizes and very different color-ways. Call the shop to be put on a waiting list.
2025 Scrap Club
Join us at any time during the year, we will be working on projects, getting help and learning new skills or refresh them. This year, we will be having periodic mini workshops on several different creative ideas! Some suggestions that have been made are: quilt-as-you-go, paper piecing, English paper piecing, landscape quilts, crumb quilt - open for any other ideas as well!
Meetings are the third Thursday of each month, cost is $120 for the entire, or partial year or will be prorated.
Block swap 2025
Join us for our second block swap, Jan-Dec. 2025! We will be swapping half-square triangles and I will be contacting you once I know how many people are in the group, so you know the number to make.
It’s a great opportunity to get a lot of blocks for a scrap quilt; you make multiple blocks all the same fabrics, drop them off at the shop then pick up your pack of all different blocks!
